Beautifully maintained unit with tea/coffee making equipment and a refrigerator. Magnificent and best possible location in Halifax close enough to the boardwalk, Halifax, and many restaurants. Also, so close to waterfront.

The stay here was comfortable for 2 night business trip. I liked the queen room with a king size bed and a shower, for instance. Its location a 10-15 minute walk from historic landscaped gardens was comfy and best possible. I had a tasty meal at the attached restaurant.

We forgot a pair of slippers after checking out and we called or emailed them several times. Unfortunately there was no reaction and only after a lot of effort from us and further calls a statement came after 4 days from hotel employees. But that was the only negative event.

The staff was super friendly, the room was beautiful and spacious, as well as the bathroom. Very comfortable with everything you need.

Silent refrigerators would be great. Because there was one very noisy and annoying at night.

location

the blow dryer in our bathroom sparked and blew out while i was getting ready to go out. we called front desk and no one responded until the next am after i called again prior to check out. my husband is a millwright and he understands the danger this situation could have caused if we had checked out and another patron had tried to use it...only prob we had
